FCX-532-001 Fusion Wireless Interface Unit with Isolator
At a glance
General
The FCX-532-001 is an addressable zone monitoring unit for interfacing with a zone of wireless devices. It includes a loop short circuit isolator.
The FCX-532-001 acts as an interface between an intelligent control panel (CIE) and Fusion wireless field devices. It transfers the wireless data from the radio signal into the wired protocol both to and from the control panel, allowing the CIE to communicate seamlessly to these devices. The FCX-532-001 may be used on both the Aritech FP1200/2000 and well as the 2X fire panel ranges.
The Range
The Fusion series consists of:
· Optical Smoke Detectors
· Multisensor Smoke Detectors
· A1R Heat Detectors
· CS Heat Detectors
· Sounders in red and white
· Combination Sounder VIDs and VADs
· Manual Call Points
· Interface Modules
Operating Principle
Fire detection is often required in buildings where cabling presents a challenge because of the design or architecture of the building. Wireless installation provides the ideal solution to these environments.
Ideal for the application in hybrid systems where both wired and wireless devices share the same CIE. Multiple gateways can be incorporated on a single installation using an easy to use, site survey kit to confirm the positioning of the wireless devices. Every gateway supports up to 31 wireless devices.
Every Fusion wireless device is assigned an address which is recognised by the control panel in the same way as is the address of any wired device connected directly to the CIE loop wiring.
